Yukitabi is an offline-first iPhone and iPad app. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics SDKs, no tracking, and no backend service in version 1.0.

On-device only: favorites, checklist progress, trip details, and display preferences are stored locally on your device. Apple explains that data processed only on device is not considered collected for App Privacy answers unless it is sent off device.
Data Stored Locally on Your Device
Yukitabi stores a small amount of app state locally so the app can remember your preferences and progress. This may include:
- Checklist completion status
- Favorites for guides, phrases, dishes, and tips
- Trip name and trip date, if you choose to enter them
- Display preferences, such as language display and appearance settings
This information is stored on your device using standard iOS storage. It is not sent to Yukitabi, sold, shared, or used for tracking.
Data Collected by the iOS App
The iOS app collects no personal data. It does not collect location, contacts, photos, health data, financial data, identifiers, diagnostics, or usage data.
The app declares use of iOS local storage APIs because it stores preferences and progress on your device.
Website and Support Data
The public website is separate from the iOS app. The website does not use advertising cookies or analytics tracking.
If you email hello@yukitabi.app, we receive the email address and message content you choose to send. We use that information only to respond to support requests, feedback, legal questions, or content corrections.
Third-Party Services
Yukitabi version 1.0 does not include third-party tracking, advertising, or analytics SDKs in the iOS app.
Outside the app, we may rely on standard service providers to operate email support and app distribution through Apple. These providers process only the information needed for those services.
Retention and Deletion
Local app data remains on your device until you clear it through available app controls, delete the app, or erase device data.
Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle the request and maintain reasonable support records.

Children's Privacy
Yukitabi is a general travel guide app and is not directed to children. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
